Prostituées nigérianes, l'enfer de la traite sexuelle

Pour 20 francs, 20 francs seulement, elles offrent ‘une prestation sexuelle’ comme on dit dans le milieu. Elles arpentent par tout les temps les trottoirs d’un quartier de Lausanne à disposition des clients qui les embarquent dans leurs voitures.

Peu d’entre nous connaissent la vie de ces femmes prostituées originaires du Nigeria, cet énorme pays d’Afrique de l’Ouest. Peu d’entre nous mesurent l’enfer qu’elles ont traversé pour se retrouver à ‘tapiner’ pour 20 francs la passe sur les trottoirs de Suisse romande. Nous avons voulu remonter la filière jusqu’à ses origines : l’immense ville de Benin City d’où elles sont originaires pour la plupart.

Benin city, haut lieu de la magie noire. Une pratique encore courante en Afrique qui permet aux trafiquants de la chair humaine à la cruelle et puissante mafia nigériane de tenir ces malheureuses par la peur et le chantage.

Des rues de Lausanne aux faubourgs de Benin city en passant par le Sahara, le chaos libyen et les bords de route de l’Italie du sud Pascal Magnin et Maria Pia Mascaro ont passé plusieurs semaines pour retracer minutieusement les étapes de ce terrible voyage. Un voyage jamais terminé. Les destins que les clients de ses filles assouvissant sans scrupules leurs fantasmes, préfèrent ne pas connaitre…

Fidèle à l’adage hâte toi lentement, et sous l’impulsion de la conseillère d’Etat verte, Beatrice Métraux alarmée par la situation à Lausanne, le canton de Vaud a enfin entamé les débats parlementaires sur une nouvelle loi sur la prostitution demandée depuis 2008. Il est probable que désormais pour faire sortir les filles de la clandestinité, elles auront l’obligation de s’annoncer auprès de la police. Cela évidemment ne sera qu’une goute d’eau face à un phénomène qui touche des dizaines de milliers de jeunes filles nigérianes à travers l’Europe.

Qui est aussi une militante féministe engagée. Connue en France pour ses articles et éditoriaux, tant dans L'Envers des Affaires que le Monde Diplo, le Club de Mediapart que Causeur, Aurore Van Opstal a lancé un crowdfunding sur la plateforme KissKissBankBank pour pouvoir tourner ce "film noir des violences sexuelles", adaptation du livre de Muriel Salmona : "Le livre noir des violences sexuelles" (Ed.Dunod).
En confrontant son propre parcours avec celui de ces femmes (Orchidée et Pascale, qui ont accepté de témoigner face caméra) et en rencontrant les rares spécialistes de la question dont la docteure Muriel Salmona, psychiatre et présidente de l’association "Mémoire traumatique", Aurore démontre que le mode opératoire des agresseurs, la réaction de la société et les impacts sur la vie des victimes sont similaires :

1) L’EMPRISE ET LE DÉNI : Le plus souvent intrafamiliales ou institutionnelles, les violences sexuelles faites aux enfants n’ont rien à voir avec l’amour : il s’agit de domination. L’enfant est là pour assouvir les désirs pervers des adultes. Orchidée ou Pascale racontent comment elles se sont retrouvées, tout comme Aurore, sous l’emprise de leurs agresseurs, des agresseurs qui présentent, plus ou moins, le même profil psychologique. Engluées dans cette relation toxique, elles évoquent cette immense solitude, le silence et le déni auxquels elles ont été confrontées.

2) LES IMPACTS : Ces violences sexuelles les ont exposées à d’autres violences lors de leur adolescence et tout au long de leur vie d’adulte et ont eu des conséquences dramatiques sur leur santé mentale et physique (tentatives de suicide, conduites destructives, addictions, nouvelles violences sexuelles…). Bien que ce soient des délits ou des crimes (viols, actes de barbarie, tentatives de meurtre…) avec circonstances aggravantes ces violences ont rarement été identifiées, signalées ou prises en charge de façon adaptée et condamnées.

3) LA VIE D' APRÈS : - Ces jeunes femmes n’en sont pas mortes. Aujourd’hui elles parlent enfin. Elles racontent comment elles tentent de s’en sortir et pourquoi la culture du viol qui règne dans nos sociétés les fragilise dans leurs tentatives de reconstruction. Un combat de tous les jours qui n’est jamais définitivement gagné comme pour Pascale chez qui la catastrophe sanitaire liée au Covid 19 a réveillé de vieux démons en la confrontant à sa mémoire traumatique.
