The European Commission just lunched an e-library (i.e online library) for all its health related publications.
The website will first interest the healthcare professionnals or any people working in the health industry. But patients and consumers might also be interested in discovering more about EU’s health policies and research.
There, you can preview and order the documents. The PDF versions are free but there may have a fee for the paper ones. The archives go back to 2006.
You will also find multimedia items, such as CD-Roms for example.
I like the very simple design, it is better (if you consider ergonomics ) than most of Web 2.0 stuff that we see online (which enormous content tends to be confusing).
I think it is a very good initiative which indicates the willingness of European authorities to get engaged into the new media.
